Where can I download the Newport XPS motion controller LV drivers online?

We have ordered the instrument, and in the meantime, I want to get acquainted with the device drivers and VIs. Is there any place I can download them from and add it to my LabView user.lib folder?

Newport has instructions on their site as to how to acquire the LabVIEW drivers for the Newport XPS.

I had already taken a look at that. It asks us to connect to the IP of the controller. I don't have the instrument yet, and was wondering if it is available online anywhere.

I apologize for my error. I’ve done some searching and can’t find a location to download the LabVIEW drivers for the Newport XPS. National Instruments does not have the drivers available. Your best bet at this point is to talk to Newport (Support line: 877.835.9620) and see if they release the drivers on a web download or can send them to you since you’ve already purchased the XPS.

They are on their ftp dowload site.

From their website go to support, drivers and at the bottom is a link to their ftp site.

But without the XPS they wont help much.
