Hello
I try to build a robot. I would like to controll it with stepper motors (about 10 motors). My question: Which components do I need, to controll these stepper motos with LabView?
Best regards

Hi CheeseRobot, im interested in what you are trying to.
You want to control 10 stepper motors, right?
This white paper may help you.
NI Stepper Motion System Selection Guide
But there are so many options, which operation system will you configure? Windows or Real-Time?
You will buy PXI or cRIO?
I strongly recommend you to contact your local NI branch.

Hi Pignite
I want to build a robot which can take cheese wheeles out of a shelf, lubricate it with a salt solution and put it back into the shelf. Therefore I need about 4 stepper motors and another 4 servomotors. But I can't already say how many motors I will use
I'm a starter in robo-technologie. I am nod well versed with the components I need to build a robot. I'm a student and so the components should be cheap, but workable. And it should be possible to add a extra motor (stepper/servo) without big effort. Could you say which components I could use, so that I can programm the different motors and eventual sensors with LabView
Greetings
