Why does the home position limit switch stop my programmed motion? Both x and y home switches are identical in hardware and in MAX settings, yet x axis stops but y axis does not. Trouble began after Flexmotion driver Update. I have the identical MAX options set up from before. They used to both owrk as intended. Is there another reason for this problem?

Which version of the NI-Motion driver are you using? Which version of the firmware are you running on the board?

I had the same problem then realized that after homing the drives, you must use the Labview Motion VI "Enable Home Inputs.vi" to Disable them. Your Max setting probably has them enabled which worked before the update. Hope this helps anyone avoid the problems I had.
