XY table motion

i have this 2 axis motion table (XY table motion)...but when i try to create a single move for example a straight line motion by using motion assistant,my xy table did not move. But the simulation (step status) indicates no error. Furthermore it state that the move is complete but nothing seems to happen on our hardware. How do i have to solve this problems?

Hi Kamsin,

which NI-Motion hardware are you using and which NI-Motion driver software version? What types of motors and drives are you using? Have you been able to move the axes in the interactive test panels in MAX?

If you do not use any feedback device (rotary encoder, linear encoder etc) the NI system never knows whether your system has actually moved. In this case each and every part of the hardware has to be checked.
