Hi,
I am about to order some Ni equipments in order to control 3 step motors (3 axis) with a cRio solution.
For that, I have selected the following components:
I have some questions about this setup:
I saw that a terminal block can be required. What is its role, and is it mandatory for the setup?
Is there a box or a support for the steppers drive?
Thank you for your responses

Hi Benjamin,
I don’t think that the terminal block will be required for your application since you are suing a compatible drive with the controller. So all the wiring can be made with one cable from the controller to the drive. I suggest that you take a look at this Getting Started PDF. Page 12 will list what you need for your application. Also, I am not sure what you mean by the “Box or a support for the stepper drive”. As I mentioned, all the details are listed in the manuals. Before ordering, you can speak to a Technical Sales Representative by calling (1866-ASK-MYNI). They will help you configure your system so you have all the components.
Thanks and have a great day.
