determing direction with three hall sensors

helle everyone,

i'm programming an PMSM motor with labview 2009, i have three hall sensor inputs, each signal is 60° phase-shifted to each other. i need to find a way to check the direction of rotation based on these three inputs. but i'm completely blank on this. hope someone can help me out.

The motor manufacturer should be able to provide you with the Halls sequencing.  Given that, you should be able to determine direction.  There should never be 3 Halls on at a time, or no Halls on.  At the very least, you should be able to rotate the motor by hand and look at the Halls signals.
