error 70119

I am suddenly getting error 70119.  No hardware or software has changed from the system working perfectly, but now this error keeps popping up randomly at the end of a table motion.  There is no pattern; the motor driving the table will function correctly for 10 cycles, then the error, then one cycle and then the error, or the error at every switch 5 times in a row.  If I hit OK then the motion continues. What's going on?

nakagal,

the error description indicates, that your axis has hit a limit switch and that you have tried to start a new move into the direction of the limit switch, which is not allowed:

70119    NIMC_limitSwitchActiveError      The desired move cannot be completed because the limit input is active in the direction of travel.

If this information doesn't help you to identify the problem, please provide more information about the board type, driver version, operating mode, motor type,...

Thanks,

Jochen Klier
