error -70229 has been encountered and is listed on NI support. First, we changed the scan engine to active mode, reformatted the compact Rio, and installed the software again. We use the NI cRIO 9035 and use elmo's stand-alone Network-based Servo Drive as the driver. Third-party products listed on NI support require you to run Open.vi before switching to acitve mode. How are you doing?

It looks like it comes from Softmotion. Does your motor need to be enabled first, before moving? Make sure that you do not send motor commands before the motor is "enabled" because this will confuse the program. Also make sure, that you send position commands in position mode, i.e. velocity commands in velocity mode. Does the motor and the axis appear in the project tree? Klicking on the axis will give you more info on the current motor status.
Some motor control drives have an Ethernet service port, which you can use with the manufacturer software to check the status of the motor.
