how to set constant velocity for ni motion 73xx

Hi,

I am trying to set constant velocity for ni motion 73xx to drive a third party stepper motor . hardware wiring was done correctly with the limit switches. when i set the velocity as constant  and  run the program i am able to with the set velocity. But if i use the same program in state machine as sub vi. It is running at the the set velocity 2000 but sometimes shoots up to 6663. I cant  figure out why it is shooting up to higher velocity than the set velocity.

I have tried set the differnt velocity and accleration/decceleration. doesn't work.
