maximum motor size for motion control board pci 7344 with out amplifier

Is it possible to eliminate the nu-drive in a motion control system if I use small enough motors? What would that motor size be for the pci 7344 board?

It will depend on the specs of the motor you choose, and if it is servo or stepper.

For servos, your analog outputs are rated +/- 10V and +/- 5 mA. So this are the limits of the board electrical circuit. In the case of the steppers, the output is TTL (0-5V) and the maximum current source is 24 mA.

It will definitely be a very small motor in order to operate with this electrical specs without a power drive.
