I'm pretty sure that I had the ECHO turned off.  To get position, the command is "1R(PA)", assuming address=1.

Hello,

I am working (for the first time) with the ViX500-IM Drive.  I ran across this feed and found the attached LabVIEW Vi's to be of great interest, however, these VI's (when being opened & constructing their respective Block Diagrams) are trying to find a another VI Library file by the name of "ViX.lvlib".  Does anyone know where I might locate this particular VI Library file?

I must not have included the library in the original posting.  I have many other VI's, but havn't looked at them in years.  If you need more help, let me know.

I just looked at the library.  Most of the useful VI's are in there.  Some of them are specific to my application.

Thank you for your quick response!  I have two questions:

I have not used this forum before & when I go to download the ViX.lvlib file, the browser opens it up & shows me the text contents instead.  I can't seem to find the option to download this file like I did your previous four VI files from the earlier (2 year old) thread.  Can you help me out here please?  Could you send it as an attchment to me at jim@sentekcorp.com??

Also - the four VI's that I was able to download from the 2 year old thread were:

ViX Config Comms.vi

ViX Parse Message.vi

ViX Read Com Port.vi

ViX Write_Read.vi

Were there any additional VI's for the ViX500 Drive that would be useful from your created library??
