Hi
I recently upgraded my system to LABVIEW 7.0 and i have RT series Traditional DAQ system: PCI 7030/6040E series.
For my application I want to develop a closed loop DC motor control.
The input to the motor should be a sine wave, I should be able to control the frequency of the sine wave.
Can any one help me with this??!!??

Hello Krithika,
1. To control the speed of motor you need to use Drive if motor is 3ph ac then ac drive or if the motor is dc then dc drive.But there is one confusion like you have dc motor but the input of motor is sine wave and you want to control frequency of sine wave. I think you have ac motor and by using ac drive you can change the freq of supply and control the speed of motor, in ac motor speed is 120f/p ... f- freq and p-poles.
2. In then drive there is always one analog input may be 0-10vdc or 4-20ma then you can give this signal from your daq card. you can start/stop the drive with daq dio also.
