We have this nudrive that we use since 2004 on a production station. We didn't change any variables (the setup is running in this state for years) and it suddenly stopped to go forward. Even if I manually send command using MAX to go reverse or forward (15000 steps or -15000 steps for example), it always go in reverse. I can see in MAX that the command is correctly sent, but the motor doesn't behave accordingly to the command.
Also, I have tried another step motor (different type) in it and I forgot to change the peak current setting. the motor moved for a while in reverse only, then it stop to move at all.
I don't think that the motor is the problem as I have a indentical backup that was behaving like the first one before I tried the different type of motor
Does my drive output is busted?
