pci 7342 detection

Hi,

I work in a lab with a tensile testing machine controlled by a LabVIEW program (made by myself). The computer connected to the machine is too old and slow, so we're replacing it with a new one.

To measure and control all the things we want (motor, extensometer, force sensor), we use two cards: a PCI 6220 and a PCI 7342, both from NI.

What I've done so far is taking the cards from the old PC and installing them in the new one (having all the things I need already installed: last versions of NI Motion, DAQmx, MAX, VISA, etc.).

When I start the new computer, Windows shows the assistant window to search the drivers for the two cards and everything seems correct. The two devices appear in the Windows Device Manager list (see attached image).

The problem is that NI MAX doesn't detect the PCI 7342 (but he does detect the 6220). I've refreshed a thousand times, switched the cards (connecting the 7342 to the PCI port where the 6220 was, and the 6220 to the 7342 port), updated all the drivers... I honestly don't know what else to do.

Here are my system specifications, I hope someone can help.

Sorry about the French (I'm a Spanish student working as an intern in a French company, so the computer is in French), I think all the words here are easily understandable.

Problem fixed by "downgrading" the NI Motion version to 8.3.

I think maybe version 8.4 isn't compatible with PCI 7342
