regarding the closed loop motion control

Hi,

     We are developming a closed loop three axis motion control system, in which following commodities are are used:

1. 12V dc geared motors for three axis i.e. horizontal, vertical and rotary

2. Linear exposed glass scales for horizontal and vertical axis

3. rotory encoder for rotary axis

                                                        So, is there any perfect solution for hardware or along with any software for to use and how can we approach it's information.

before I can give you any recommendation, please provide some more information:

1. Could you please provide some more specs about the motors (current specs, motor vendor,...). Could you post a datasheet?
2. What type of signal do you get from your glass scales and from your rotatory encoder?
3. What are your application's requirements in terms of move modes (linear point to point, arcs, contouring, synchronization,...)?
4. Are there any special requirements regarding the controller hardware? Could this be a PC or are you looking for a more compact and ruggadized form factor?

Please provide this and other relevant information. The better we understand your requirements, the better we can assist you.
