I am mohd sulaiman and presentling working on project "BRUSHLESS DC POSITION CONTROLLER".
sir I am using dsp processor for controlling the motor.sir,I have some doubts regarding the implementation of
the position controller. I hope you would
guide me so that I can proceed further in my project.
In our application we are using BLDC motor which is having Trapezoidal Back-Emf.
1)Is there any motion profile like thing to be followed in BLDC motor as in STEPPER motors where we go for TRIANGULAR and TRAPEZOIDAL motion profiles
2)I have to implement the PID and PI controllers in software for speed regulation,current regulation and for positionin

I dont know how to calculate the stability when any two controllers are working .please give the details how to calculateKP,KD,KI and determine the stability.
3)I know that through Encoder Feedback we can calculate the speed of the motor but I have DOUBT whether we can also Predict the POSITION of the motor through ENCODER Feedback if possible please specify how can we do that.
