I have a NI7358 motion controller card and I used it to control the position or the torque of a servo motor. The position control uses encoder feedback while the the torque control uses analogue feedback from a load cell. Now I am trying to change the two feedback on the fly, i.e. from analogue to encoder and vice versa. I have try to find related topics on the NI forum and the internet but I could not get any details on how to perform this task.
In one of your document, '10 Essential Technologies for High-Performance Motion Control', it indicated that 'switch feedback on the fly' is one of the advance feedback technique but no details are available.
Please provide me with some advices on how to perform this switch? A program will be preferred. If not, at least let me know which VI to use.
