trouble tuning servo motor in MAX

I am using a 7344 controller board and 3 gemini amplifiers from Compumotor. We were able to get the drive enabled but we are unable to get the motor to spin when using autotune in MAX. MAX returns an error but offers no explanation except a dialog box with no information inside???? Any ideas of what is wrong? Please help! Thanks!

Hi, do you get holding torque in your motor at all before trying the autotune? Sometimes your system might be in such an unstable state at the beginning that it might be very difficult to autotune it so you would have to go into manual tunning which gives you a lot more flexibility when setting up your motor. Here is a document that should help you get started with the tunning.
