which module is for speed sensor

Dear All,

Right now I have a stirrer "Cyclone 075" which is from Büchi company. The stirrer has a speed sensor inside already and with a wire to be connect to the measurment device. This wire has four subwires inside, green means Output, brown means - , white means V+, silver means the signal to control the stirrer Is it said the output of the speed sensor is within the range from 0~20mA. We have an analog input NI 9203 and an analog output NI 9265 plugged with the FPGA board NI cRIO-9073. I dont know how to connect this three subwires with our analog input device.Cna anyone here help me on this or should i buy another device?Thx a lot!!

Hello YaoYao,

please check if you can control your stirrer with analog or digital signals. If analog is ok, you can use 9203 and 9265.

What voltage for opperation does you stirrer need? Between V+ and V- you need to connect power supply. The V+ I would connect to the + of power supply and V- to gnd. The Output I would connect with Analog Input, the Silver = Control with AO. It is important that both COM ports of your AI and AO modules are connected with GND of your power supply , so that you have a clean reference. I do not know what you exactly want to measure, but I think you want to control your stirrer with the Ai and AO modules in form of a loop? Is it correct?

I do not know exactly your Device. Have you for this any detailed specification? Please check whta exact voltage you need to apply for your stirrer?

This is how I would connect it.

Best reagards,
