Hey Larry,
If you are just looking for a circuit for attenuating a signal by 10, then I would suggest an non-inverting amplifier circuit. Op-amps are very inexpensive, and you can create an attenuating circuit with an op-amp and some resistors. I have included a link below that shows how to construct a non-inverting op-amp circuit. You'll just need to use the correct resistors to make the circuit divide by ten (gain = 0.1).
