I have a 34980 that is using the fowling cards with LabVIEW software.
- 34923A (MUX/DMM)
- 34939A (General Switch)
- 34951A (DAC)
Running some LabVIEW scripts, I noticed a constant beeping noise. Normally, I assume this to be an indication of some error, but in this case I can't figure out what it could be. I have checked the error report on the 34980 and NI IO trace and found no error. I tried looking for any information about the beeping noise, but I couldn't find anything. My only assumption is that there is some error being produced, but the report log is getting overwritten before I can see it.

The right way to phrase is "using the fowling cards with a software developed in LabVIEW"
Given that all the instruments are non-NI and the beep is from HW, it is best to refer to the respective instrument manuals and ask the respective manufacturer or their forum why it might beep.
By posting on the NI forum, you're limiting your reach to folks who use those instruments with NI Hardware or Software, by posting respective manufacturer forum, you get to reach a wider audience.
