6210 DAQ Hardware communication problem with DAQmx 9.2.3 (Err 88302)

Solved!
Go to solution

I would like to use NI-USB-6210 together with DIAdem 11.1 running on Win 7 Home Premium. Supplied DAQmx software and drivers are in version 8.6 but this DIAdem 11.1 doesn't support (DAC NI-DAQ interface didn't show any existing signal). So I decided to update DAQmx software on latest version 9.2.3 which should solve this problem. After installation all items of previous MAX configuration has been transferred well and DIAdem DAC block indicated all signals succesfully but start of acquisition and measurement is impossible since. After firmwareloader establishes connection hardware seems to be running but any attempt to transfer data or start any function of MAX raises failurie event -88302 "An internal error occured". Does anybody help me please ?

Hi Milosriha,

Can you please write me in detail what exatly you are doing in MAX when you receive this error code! For example running test panels and trying analog input with some settings. Did you run Self Test in MAX? Did you try to use it on a different USB port?

Please provide me these information so we can move forward!

Thanks,

Hello,

first of all DAQ is running on netbook Compaq Mini311 and all available ports indicate same phenomena

if the device is plugged into the USB port. NI device monitor is searching and later detecting 6210 modul so it looks like ok but when I try to start up either "Self Test" or "Reset Device" or "Test panel" service reacts always with mentioned error.

I am developing my own application for torque measurement under VB.Net and with originally supplied DAQ 8.6 drivers and libraries MAX is working very well and no problem with launching, deploying and testing of hardware /software occured. Every problems arised when I decided to prepare parallel operation on DIAdem 11.1 and I found that MAX configuration is not transferred into the NI-DAQ block when I started with built up of DAC file. So I tried to upgrade DAQmx unil NI-DAQ will receive and detect all configured MAX signals and only DAQmx 9.2.3 solved this issue but no more activity is possible.

Dear milosriha,

This error usually indicates corrupt installation of DAQmx driver. Please try to repair the installation and/or uninstall/reinstall the driver. If you downloaded from the web, you might try to download again the installer, it might have some issues as well.

PLease try above ideas and let me know how it goes!

Dear Mr. Varga,

after the PC was clean up from all previous installed parts of DAQ and new installation repeated once again, problem was fixed and now the system is fully capable to operate with DIAdem as well as with Net. application.

With best regards
