Hi I have a 7831R PCI FPGA card that is not working properly. The 5 volt supply cannot support more than a few ma draw, and the DIO are running at 3.6V when turned on. I notice that fuse F10 has 264 ohms, which matches the resistance that would account for the voltage drop and different load conditions on the 5 V supply. This is the second time this has happened. I have several of these cards running fine in nearly identical equipment. The cards that are working have a different part at that fuse location. The card that I had replaced has the same part as this card that's not working properly. My application draws about 11ma. The cards that work have 1 ohm across this fuse.
Why does this fuse have 264 ohms?
Thanks, Paul

I would suggest you to contact your local NI Office with that issue.
Thanks,
