Acquiring and Monitoring of Impulse Voltage(Transient Voltage) Characteristics

I want to measure and monitor the impulse voltage(Transient Voltage),which will occur generally during lightning surges,which effects electrical equipments.

And the specifications of Impulse Voltage are as follows,

t1 =  1.2 micro seconds(rise time)

t2 = 50 micro seconds(total duration of impuse)

Peak value of the impuse depends on equipment rating,for example,for a 400KV rating,impuse voltage will be  1350 KV peak,

and also this voltage we want to capture in 50 micro seconds.

What will be the best solution regarding PXI DAQ Card,resolution,Sampilng rate,can anyone help in this concern.

There is an SCXI module available for measuring kV range voltages. 

You may have a look at ni.com/pxi to know about the PXI platform.
