Add Channel when device in not attached?

I have a USB 6210 connected to a Laptop on which is running a stand alone application (built with Application Builder).
I need to add a channel to the program and rebuild the app, then copy and run it on the Laptop. I have Labview running on my PC. When I try to add a channel (in Labivew, on my PC) it wont do it because the USB 6210 isn't actually attached to the PC.

Is there a way to get arround this?

Thanks

You could still type in your USB Device's channel physical address in the 'physical channel' control.

Just open Max in your Laptop and note the device name of your USB 6210

Type in as for example: Dev1/ai0 etc

Or you could also wire a string control at input to Physical channel terminal

any doubts, do ask

Regards,

Dev
