Advise on upgrading from a NI-SCXI-1001 system to cRIO

Hi,

We currently have a SCXI-1001 hardware and are looking to get an additional DAQ. I was wondering what would be a replacement for a SCXI-1125 8-ch analogue input module in the latest NI DAQ range. Is the SCX-1125 a true AI diff module with Ch-to-Ch isolation? The datasheet states 300Vrms isolation but doesn't specify if it is Ch-to-Ch and/or if it is Ch-to-Earth.

I was thinking a cRIO NI-9220 would be the way to go, but my colleague reckons that the 9220 is not a true differential input device like the 1125 (can't confirm as the datasheet isn't clear) but rather a pseudo-diff. He reckons that the NI-9239 is the only true diff AI module as this is shown to have Ch-to-Ch and Ch-to-Earth isolation of 250Vrms and the 9220 doesn't appear to have Ch-to-Ch isolation, only 250Vrms Ch-to-Earth.

The reason for my question is, that my colleague reckons we cant have 2-wire loop powered transducers and 4-wire external powered transducers connected to the same module because to do this, Ch-to-Ch isolated inputs are required. We have a need that we need to connect 2-wire loop powered transducers and 4-wire ext powered transducers that have independent power supplies/grounds.
