Analog output for USB NI-6009 using Simulink

I am using the USB NI-6009 data acquisition card in conjunction with Simulink.

A test file was created to come to grips with producing an analog output. See attached.
However, when run an error message is received stating,
"Error reported by S-function 'sdaqao' in 'NIDAQconfiguration_Output/Analog Output':
The analog output subsystem of this device does not support clocked generation.
You must use PUTSAMPLE to output data."

The test file works with the PC sound card and another manufacturer's data acquisiton card. Can you suggest ways to adapt the Simulink file or tweak the Ni-6009 DAQ card to produce an analog output.

Hi,

Sadly we don't have Simulink software here to allow us to recreate this problem, did you follow the following KB regarding LabVIEW and Simulink?

All the best,

Hi,

The simulink blocks require hardware that provides an onboard clock to acquire data.  If you have access to the prerelease of R2008a, you can try the new blocks that support devices like this.
