I'm new in this board and also new on working with a NI Environment. I'm using a new PXI System with 2 PXIe-4322 Analog output cards in a PXI2-1084 frame.
In my first steps i try to generate a voltage output with the MAX environment with different settings but i could not generate a defined voltage for example 2.500V.
On the output i connected to VO+ and VO- a voltage output instrument and an oszilloscope.
Result: When i set up a voltage >0 then the instrument shows 21.73V, if the setup voltage <0 then the instrument shows -21.73 voltage. So it seems for me the Analog Output works like a comparator.
Also i tried the LabView Examples. When i setup the correct output channel with a sine waveform i see square output on my oszilloscope with amplitute of the 21.73V. But the frequency was correct. Also i tried some trigger mode or different output mode for example single immediate update. Every time i see only the +/-21.73V. Also i could not set the voltage limits in the example programs.
Question: Did i forget a basic setting for the output aquisition? How could i check the working wise of the DAC of the card (they are new....)?
