Another DAQ 6.9.3 problem with Labview 7 and PCI-1200

I have missing vi's when using the DAQ 6.9.3 legacy driver.

I have installed DAQ 6.9.3 with Labview 7 on Win XP. This is the last legacy driver which supports pci-1200. However, when I use this driver, several vi's are not found. This includes. ai config.vi, ai read (scaled array).vi and so on.

I downloaded the DAQ 6.9.3.zip file and extracted to a folder. I downloaded and ran the LV61Eng.exe file (which I could not find on this website but found on some obscure australian homepage.) from the same folder. Then I ran the setup.exe file (from DAQ 6.9.3) with a command line forcing english language (this is a bug in the software described somewhere in this forum). I redirected the support for Labview 6.1 to the Labview 7.0 folder. The installation seems to work, but I am then missing some vi's as stated above.

Am i doing something wrong? Do I need to run these files in a specific way?

Can I install these missing vi's some other way.

Hope someone can help. I have been trying to solve this problem for weeks now.

Hi Tommy,

Your issue can be that you are using LabVIEW 7.0 with the DAQ 6.9.3 driver.
If you take a look at http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/F4E76EC05118F72D8625773000672298?OpenDocument, you will find that LabVIEW 7.0 needs the DAQ version 7.0 or up to 7.4.4.

This means that because of your hardware you need to use LabVIEW 6.0 or LabVIEW 6.1.

I found a solution by simply moving dll files into another folder.

Thanks for the help.
