I interface with my S-series DAQ devices (NI PCI 6115 and NI PCI 6133) using a 32 bit dell desktop through matlab 7 via NIDAQmx functionality
(I do not use LabView). Although it took a bit of work, the system runs well. We are thinking of upgrading our computational power to something
with more RAM and possibly 64 bit architecture. Are the NIDAQmx functionality and S-series devices compatible with a 64 bit machine/64 bit matlab
implementation?

Hello enahs_19,
NI-DAQmx 8.9 supports 64-bit User Mode and will work in a 64-bit environment (Vista x64). As far as the functionality with 64-bit MATLAB®, I don't know.
