BIOMEDICAL SIGNAL ACQUISITION

I am using NI DAQ for acquisition of ECG siganl..i am using tree probes with surface electrodes on one end which i ve placed to the right arm,left arm and right ankle...and the other ends i inserted in channel AI1,AI2,AI3(analog input) and use DAQ assistant in block diagram panel with contionous mode,sample is 100 and rate is 1K.. i configured it in NRSE mode...used a waveform graph in front panel to view the output but not able to see the ECG signal(acquired signal)..please help me out....

You cannot acquire an ECG (or other biopotential signal) directly with an NI DAQ device.  You need a special bio-amplifier before the DAQ device to properly extract and amplify the signal and provide some level of safety from potential burns or shock due to equipment failure or accidental misuse.  Please see this posting on our Biomedical User Group:  http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4670
