Hello,
I understand that bluetooth modules can work with Labview but I am wondering if NI has a portable daq boad for digital and analog inputs that can be configured to work with bluetooth modules.
Thanks,

A-
What is your intended application? As of Bluetooth 2.0, the bandwidth is simply not there to support most DAQ speeds. With 3.0, there would possibly be some useful functionality, but no devices we carry could be fully utilized using Bluetooth.

My application is to collect ~ 16 transducer signals (0-5V) and from a portable backpack and sample them 1 per second and send them to a local PC.

Hi Art,
Have you considered our WSN-3202 for this application. It uses ZigBee, not Bluetooth, but is designed for exactly this style of application.

Jeff,
Thanks for directing me to this hardware. I will take a look at it but it sounds like it can be used to meet our needs.
Thanks

Sean,
It was suggested to look at the WSN-3202 wireless sensor measurement nodes and I was wondering if they will work if they have to be line of sight or it they can still work if they are enclosed?
Thanks,
Art

Art-
Obstacles could always compromise your signal, but unless your backpack is made out of lead, you should be fine. Just think of a wireless router in a house. The specified range on this device is 300 m. I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Sean

Hello Art,
What are the distances that you need for your applicaiton and where will it be? outside/insdie?
I have personally walked my WSN-3202 down the stairs of a parking garage with my gateway on the roof and I always stayed connected. We have a very powerful radio that should meet your needs.
Cheers
