Buffer for counters NI USB6212/USB6259

I need to measure countinously two-edge separation.
I have edges with frequwncy of 3kHz .
I found that USB6212 had FIFO 1023 samples, and USB6259 had  FIFO 2 samples.
Additionaly I want to measure 16 (25) analog input with 25kHz.

Will I have a problem with overwriting counter buffor in USB6259?

I read through your post and I am unclear on what exactly you are doing.  Theoretically, you could have problems depending on the type of counting you are doing and how fast.  I would like to point you to some resources on the various types of counting.  If you still have questions, please explain in more detail what you are doing in your application so that I may be of more help.
