CB-68LP board

Hi,

I have a questio on CB-68LP board. I bought this board and I connected it into PCI 6250 board at one end using shield cable.
The other end I connected into the test fixture. Do I need to configure it in MAX before acquire a signal. How come I don't
see this board on MAX interface. Can you tell me how to test the signal on CB-68LP  before acquiring

Hi

the CB-68LP is only a terminal block. it will not be detected on your MAX. read the manual and understand which are the input and output terminals. you can then wire a know signal either from a sinewave generator, or bettar still you can also wire one of the output terminal to the input terminal. you can then use MAX to select  the output terminal which you wire to generate a certain signal and similarly use MAX to read if there is any signal coming in from the input terminal

It's not very complicated. You have a terminal block with a 68 pin ribbon cable. connector and 68 numbered terminals. Each of the numbered terminals corresponds to the pin of of same number on the ribbon cable connector. You connect a cable from the DAQ board to the ribbon cable connector on the terminal block. To know what each pin of the terminal block is (i.e. AI0, AI1, etc.), you have to look at the documentation for the DAQ board.

Hi all-

Thanks Goy and Dennis for your help.  NI2345, you can find the device-specific pinout for your device in the M Series Help file.  The pinout is available in the .chm file within the main download under Specifcations and Device information.

Thanks-
