Calibrating NI-6120 (PXI) generates error -200545 or -200546

Hello LabVIEW friends,

for simultaneous voltage measurements I want to perform a self calibration of the NI-6120. I tried this in MAX and programmatically.

Both ways result in the same error: -200545. I tried this too for the NI-4204 which was successful. For self calibrating I left the

connections open. I reseted the device. The self test passed and the aquisition works but not calibrated!

Because one point of the error message was "recalibrate the onboard voltage reference that is used for self calibration" I

performed an extern calibration programmatically (based on the user manual for 6120). This wasnt successful (error -200546).

I am using DAQmx 8.7.2f1.

Is it possible that this mx driver is not best for the 6120? Should I update the DAQmx? Do you have other suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Marco,

Hi,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments, I would advise you first of all to to reset the board and upgrade the DAQmx driver to 8.9.

You can also try installing the latest driver version and calibrating the card. The latest can be downloaded from  https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daq-mx.html
