Camera commands

Hi

I have a camera (TROUBLESHOOTER, http://www.fastecimaging.com/indust_cams.html#trouble) that can capture 250 frames per second. The manufacturer links this camera to the computer through USB and control it using a specific software. I am trying to control the camera using LabView, but I don’t have the command set for this camera because the vendor did not provide it.

Any one please can help me with this problem.

Hello Inco68,

You may be able to communicate with this camera using the NI-IMAQ for USB Cameras driver.  Keep in mind the camera must be DirectShow compliant in order for it to work.  This driver is also not officially supported by NI. I looked at the link you posted and didn’t see anything on Fastec’s website about it being DirectShow compliant.  You may need to call Fastec to get more detailed camera specifications.
