Can I place more then 1 cal point in the bridge scale settings

I am using 9171 and programming for load cells. I am placing the calibrated units from the cal certificate to set the scaling. Can I use more then 1 setting or do I use just 1 (the max) for this. The cert has readings at 200lbs., 400lbs., 600lbs., etc. If I can use these is there any advantage or disadvantage?

I am a new user of NI products.....

Hi La-Z-Man,

Are you using an "AI Force (Bridge)" channel? (Example: Cont Acq Force Bridge Samples (with Calibration).vi) Change the scaling from "Two-Point Linear" to "Table" to enter more than two cal points.

If you're not using the "AI Force (Bridge)" channel type, please post some more info: a code snippet or screenshot showing how you are scaling the data and which module you are using (NI 9219, NI 9237, etc.).

Brad

Hey Brad,

Sorry I have taken so long to respond. Higher priority day to day issues....Fun.

At any rate I choose force bridge set up/table scale type and under mV/V I put in 5 cal points 0 to 1000 @ 200lb intervals.

I am using the 9237.

Do I need Labeled on the computer to use this or is NI-DAQmx adequate?

Thanks,

Ted
