Can different cDAQ modules sampling at different speed?

Can different cDAQ modules sampling at different speed?

I have two 9215 module plugged in different slots in the cDAQ-9172 chassis.

I want to know if I can set different sampling rates for the two modules.

i.e. The first 9215 samples at 100KHz and the second 9215 samples at 1kHz. Thx!

Hello zenith,

I just wanted to realize this yesterday and I could not. I suppose this happens because the driver sees the CompactDAQ like one board and it can only have one analog input task.
So I have to create one task for all my analog input (from different modules) at the same sampling rate.

I'm still wondering if it is possible or not???

Hello Zenith

I just found the information taht we needed. This is explained in the KB Frequency Measurement Information for NI CompactDAQ and in the NI cDAQ-9172 User Guide and Specifications on page 12.

Extract:
The cDAQ-9172 has one AI timing engine, which means that only one analog input task may be running at a time on a chassis. However, the analog input task can include channels from multiple analog input modules
