Can't configure channels in MAX for PCI-6229

I'm trying to confirm that the two PCI-6229s I have installed in my lab computer are working normally, but I can't seem to make it work.

When I run MAX 19.5, I find that I cannot test out the individual channels on either PCI-6229 DAQ, and that I cannot configure the channels as I am able to on other NI DAQs (see attached picture)

What am I doing wrong? Is it a software version issue?

Never mind. I downgraded the MAX version to 14.0 and now the DAQs are working normally.
