Can't read acceleration measurements of accelerometer from Ni Daq

I am trying to read an acceleration measurement from an accelerometer using the NI dAQ. I am using an ac coupled 3 axis dactron acclerometer. it needs an input current to read from accelerometer. I have an ni usb 6259. do i need another instrument to measure the acceleration or should the daq suffice?
