Hi:
I have a really strange thing happen when I was using the SCXI-1000+SCXI-1520+SCXI1314 today. Every thing runs fine for several minutes and then the error of 200073 happened. Restart everything, sometime the modulus can be detected but then lost communication after several minutes of use. Most of the time the chassis just can not find the modulus. I had move everything to another chassis, the same problem. Any body has an ideal what's wrong with the system?
Thanks

Hey Junling,
Please take a look at KnowledgeBase : I receive Error -200073 and none of my SCXI modules are detected in MAX
Thanks again,
Nick

Hello, Nick:
Thank you, But My device is a pure SCXI chassis and module, do I still have this voltage related problems?
Plus everything runs fine on the current power supply.
Thanks

Hey Junlings,
Can you tell me a bit more about the system. What version of Daqmx are you using? Can you see the chassis in Measurement & Automation Explorer ? What is the controlling card for the chassis? Meaning, is there a USB 1600 in the chassis, is there a DAQ card in the computer connected to the chassis? Do these cards show up in Measurement & Automation Explorer ?
Thanks again
Nick

Hi:
I already called NI technical support about this issue but want to share online what we have found till now.
I have an relative old DAQ system (PCI-MIO-16-e4+scxi1000+scxi1520+scxi1314), they worked fine until this Tuesday.
I suddenly lost the connection of my DAQ card and the chassis. And can not auto detect it after that. When I switch the scxi1520 to a different SCXI-1000 chassis. The DAQ card can auto detect the chassis and modulus but after several minitues, the same thing happened again.
Now I am quite sure the DAQ card is good(by testing in DAQDiagnosticUtility2.0) and all cable and connection is good as it runs fine with a different chassis and a different scxi1520 module.
The conclusion I have till now is something wrong with my scxi1520 and whatever chassis powered with this SCXI1520 will lost communication with DAQ card. I did check the main and back panel fuses in the scxi-1000 chassis, and they are all good with zero resistance.
I believe I have somehow damaged several chassises till now by trying to trouble shooting and swicthing the scxi1520 around them. So, Now I Really have no ideal what to do next. Please advice.
Thanks
Junlings

Hi:
Some updates, finally with the help of the NI application engineerings (thank you all, Travis,Eric and Nick),
We found that the back panel fuses of scxi-1000 were burned out beacuse of the broken scxi-1520. Now at least we found a very promissing way to restore the chassis. Will recommend any one who has the same problems to check the fuses first and figure out the way causing that, before switching modules around different chassis.
Thanks
