We are conducting an experiment to collect DC voltages at the 0.1 mV level using Keithley’s DAQ6510, but we are not observing the expected sampling rate.
We are using custom software instead of the manufacturer's KickStart. Additionally, we have configured the settings with a filter count (simple moving average) of 10 and a sampling rate of 600 Hz.
Data was collected from four channels, and after 10 minutes of measurement, the results showed an unexpected sampling rate of approximately 1.39 Hz, with only 800 data points logged in total
Currently, the measurement process involves transmitting data from the DAQ to the computer via a USB Type B connection. Please let us know if there are any improvements that can be made or if we might have made any mistakes.
