Computer Keeps Restarting

Every time I launch a VI that uses the DAQ board or I try to look at my DAQ settings in MAX the computer will instantly restart. I am running on an AMD XP 1800 processor, and windows XP. Using Labview 6.1

By the way using a MIO-16-4 card with a BNC-2120 board

Hi,
This is a strange problem. I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the driver software again, then try the board in a different slot and see if the error persists. If possible try in a different computer to see if the error continues.

Another thing to test is, soon after you install the card, if the MAX recognizes the card properly and if the card passes the resources test.

Please let me know what you get after these tests as I outlined.
