Any reason I can't connect the digital output from a PXI-7813R and an analog input from a PXI-6225 DAQ to the same test signal input?
I am testing a TTL gating circuit that has a software selectable pull up/down and I want to verify the voltage levels with the 6225 analog input while I tri-state the 7813R digital output. After I verify the pull-up.down levels I will activate the 7813R digital output to provide a TTL pulsed signal at about 10Hz to verify circuit operation.
Any reason not to do this or anything I should be aware of?
Thanks,
SteveS

Since nobody has bothered to reply in the negative sense I suppose my original assumption that this is no issue is valid.
Thanks.

Hi Steve,
Based on what you have described, I do not really see any problems with hooking up an analog input to the circuit to determine the setting of the digital input circuit. Let me know if you do not get the expected behavior from this setup. Best of luck,

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the input, this circuitry will be on an interface pcb I'm designing so I'm just trying to dot the i's and cross the t's.
