I recently watched a video tutorial on how to use the Daq fro creating a task and the video instructed me to go to data nieghboorhood but I searched every where on the measurement and automation dialog box but could not find it, is this because UT Dallas has a later version of labview than was featured on the tutorial or because They do not have all the software associated with Labview? here is the tutorial im referencing: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5374 Also if it is a matter of missing software can you make known to me fwhere the proper software is available and the title of such sofware?

Hi PaulifordW,
If possible, can you let me know which version of Measurement and Automation Explorer(MAX) you are using by going to Help>About. The Data Neighborhood should be under "My System". If it is indeed not there you can always create a DAQmx task by Right clicking on your specific device under Devices and Interfaces and selecting Create Task.. which will walk you through the same DAQ Assistant steps.
