Hi,
Using a typical reed switch, I am trying to measure the amount of pulse (through the spinning) the wind turbine makes.
My problem is when I click on "Pulse Width" under Counter Input, in the DAQ wizard, this comes up " No Supported Devices Found". Am I doing the right thing? All I am trying to do measure the pulses to convet it into RPM. Its not that hard, but it's doesnt want to read it.
Thanks for your help

Howdy Todd!
You are doing the right thing in software to configure a pulse width measurement, however, the USB-6009 only supports event counting. You will not be able to use the USB-6009 to take more advanced counter measurements such as period, semi-period, frequency, and pulse width. That is why you are seeing the "No Supported Devices Found" message.
If you are looking for a USB DAQ device that can perform these measurements you might consider the NI USB-6210.
