What do you mean by DAQ Solution Wizards? The DAQ Assistant is installed by insyalling the DAQmx driver. Did you do that? What version?

Your tutorial is very, very out of date. There has not been a DAQ Solution Wizard in this century, I think.

Hi Joja,

The answers to your questions regarding the DAQ Solution Wizard can be found here: where is DAQ solution Wizard in LABVIEW8 . That forum discusses the update away from the DAQ Solution Wizard and has links to tutorials on using DAQ Assistant and the DAQmx drivers.

I hope that helps!

Thanks Matt !

I got it. Now I have another card interface (is not supported by NI company, it is made by my teacher ). It did not appear on MAX and I don't know how to connect with it...Please help me!

Hi JoJa,

This may be a number of various factors such as what type of card it is and how it is expecting to be communicated to. It may also require a device driver in order to communicate with MAX and other software programs. I would recommend checking with your teacher on whether he/she has developed a driver to communicate with this card or if it uses some standard communication protocol.

I would also recommend creating a new Discussion Forum thread for this issue or searching for an existing thread that is related. This issue is not related to DAQ Assistant and you will likely get more help and more interested parties looking at your post if you create a new thread or post to a more closely related one.

Thanks,

Matt
