DAQ Assistant not finding channels of cDAQ

Solved!
Go to solution

We have just recently purchased the Compact DAQ and two 16 channel thermocouple modules.  I am trying to modify some code from using an USB Pico Logger to the cDAQ and I'm trying to follow the examples found from your website using the DAQ Assistant.  The DAQ Assistant initializes, and I choose Analog Input from the Acquire Signal selection.  When I navigate to the Thermocouple option of the temperature section it says "Reading System Configuration, Please Wait..." but it never picks up the cDAQ channels.  I have the drivers installed and the USB port recoginizes the device (and the light indicates that it is in the Ready state) but it never gets past "Reading System Configuration."

Thank you for your time.

Did you install the driver that comes with your compact DAQ?  Also, having the latest MAX may help.

Yik

Solution has been found.  Turns out the Data folder had corrupted files in it.  Once I deleted it MAX started working fine.
