DAQ CArd fired

Hi, I have A DAQ 6024E card-windows xp system. when ı was studying to motor control with 6024e card analog output, my ribbon cable fired. and then NI software showed this error:"The device is not responding to the first IRQ level" for daq card. What is the problem and solutions.

Could you please go into more detail about what you mean by “fired”? 

 

We do have some documentation that addresses the error message that you’re receiving.

 

This particular issue might be solved with a BIOS update. In order to update your laptop BIOS you need to contact your computer manufacturer. This problem was confirmed with version A02 of the BIOS present in DELL Latitude laptops, as well as some BIOS versions on the Dell Inspiron 5100 series. It is always a good idea to have the latest version of the BIOS installed on your system, since several issues might be addressed by the new versions.

 

Please let me know if you can offer any clarifications on the issue, or if updating the BIOS does not help.

Well it could be "fired" and it could be "fried". Either way I think the problems may go way beyond a BIOS update.
