I just bought a DAQ (NI PCI-6221 M series) but it looks like the driver won't work with the version of labview that I have (labview 7 express). Is there anything I can do other than a software upgrade?
Which driver are you using? A list of DAQ driver and LabVIEW version compatibility can be found here. The latest version of DAQmx that is supported for LabVIEW 7.0 is DAQmx 8.1. It is available for download here. DAQmx 8.1 supports the PCI 6221 (this fact can be seen in the driver readme).
